NJBusJobs collects information from site visitors and applicants so we can evaluate applications, match candidates to relevant New Jersey bus-driving opportunities, improve the site, and operate the business.
Information we collect
- Contact information such as name, email address, and mobile phone number
- Location information such as city, ZIP code, and counties where you can work
- Application details such as CDL status, endorsements, driving experience, availability, and willingness to train
- Optional notes or resume information you choose to provide
- Technical information such as IP address, browser, device, referring page, and campaign or UTM data
- Consent records including the wording shown to you, the boxes you checked, and the time of submission

- To contact you about your application and potential job matches
- To share your application with relevant New Jersey employers or hiring partners if you consent

Brand-only public identity and minimal personal details
NJBusJobs uses a brand-only public identity. We do not publish an operator's personal name, personal phone number, home address, or applicant details on the public site. For launch, we ask only for the information reasonably needed to review and route bus-driver applications.
- We do not request Social Security numbers, date of birth, driver's license numbers, or payment details in the launch application.
- We ask for name, phone, email, location, work-area, CDL, experience, and availability details so we can evaluate job fit.
- Applicant information is collected privately for matching and is not displayed publicly on NJBusJobs.
When we share information
We may share your information with New Jersey employers or hiring partners that appear relevant to your profile if you consented to that sharing during the application process. We may also share data with service providers that help us host the site, run forms, store submissions, or manage communication tools.
We do not promise that every submission will be shared, and we do not guarantee any interview, job offer, or placement.
Text, phone, and email contact
If you provide consent, NJBusJobs and matched employers may contact you by phone, email, and text message about bus-driving opportunities. If text messaging is used, message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of future marketing or matching communication by using the opt-out method provided in the message or by contacting us.
Retention and deletion
We keep applicant information for as long as reasonably needed for matching, reporting, fraud prevention, compliance, and business records. If you want your information deleted or no longer shared, contact us and we will stop future routing of your information subject to legal or operational retention needs.

- You can decline optional future-opportunity communications
- You can ask us to stop sharing your application going forward
- You can request access, correction, or deletion using the brand-only privacy and accessibility contact path described below
Privacy contact
During launch, NJBusJobs uses a brand-only public support path and does not publish personal operator details.
For privacy or data-sharing requests before the dedicated mailbox is live, use the application form at /apply.html and write "Privacy request" or "Accessibility request" in the notes field so the request can be routed privately.
Planned branded mailbox: privacy@njbusjobs.com. This address should replace the temporary form-based request path once the live inbox is active.
Policy updates
NJBusJobs may update this policy from time to time. If the policy changes materially, the updated effective date will be shown on this page.
